Margaret Krebsbach
Mrs. Nicholas Krebsbach died at her home in Carl township last
Thursday morning, February 18, 1915. The funeral services were held at
St. Patrick's Catholic church in Corning Saturday morning, conducted by
Rev. Father Dollard. Interment was made in Calvary cemetery.
Margaret Jennings was born in County Maio, Ireland in 1846. She
came to America in 1870 and settled in Rome, Ill. In 1874 Miss Jennings
was married to Nicholas Krebsbach at Peoria, Ill. They came to Iowa in
1878 and spent a couple of years near Coin, then came to the present
family home. To Mr. and Mrs. Krebsbach six children were born, three
sons and three daughters. They are Mrs. James Miller, Mrs. Frank Miller,
Mrs. James Hatton, all of Adams county, and Pete, Joe and Nicholas
Krebsbach, at home. Beside the husband and children, Mrs. Krebsbach
leaves one sister, Mrs. Dennis Callahan, of Afton, Iowa. The deceased
lady had many friends and will be missed among her acquaintances.
Sympathy is extended to the bereaved ones in their sorrow.
