Mrs. Calvin Kruse
Mrs. Calvin Kruse, 37, Sierra Madre, Calif., died Dec. 24 in
Monrovia (Calif.) Hospital after a 2 1/2-year illness. She was the
former Ruth Mosman of Carroll.
Her funeral was held at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, in St. Rita's
Catholic Church, Sierra Madre, of which she was a member. Burial was in
Resurrection Cemetery, San Gabriel.
Mrs. Kruse, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe H. Mosman of Carroll,
was born at Halbur on April 2, 1926. She attended SS. Peter and Paul
School at St. Angela Academy in Carroll. On Aug. 16, 1944, she married
Calvin Kruse of Manning at SS. Peter and Paul Church, Carroll.
Surviving are her husband; five children, Michael, Gary, Richard,
Pamela and Tamara; her parents; two sisters, Mrs. Dwight (Lorraine)
Daugherty, Knoxville, and Mrs. D. J. (Olive Ann) Boom, San Bernardino,
Calif.; and four brothers, Arden Mosman, Dedham; Rolla nd Mosman, Boone;
Lon Mosman, Carroll; and Don Mosman, Monrovia, Calif.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Dean, at the
age of two months; and Richard, in 1955.
