Last Rites Held Thursday For Mrs. Kullberg
Funeral services were held from the Olerich Funeral Home last
week Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Mrs. Andrew P. E. Kullberg who
died Monday last week at the Cherokee hospital.
Casket bearers included Oscar Westrom, Stanley Westrom, Wilbur Hanson,
George Fischer, John Auen and Herman Swanson.
Dr. William Baddeley, pastor of The Methodist Church, conducted
the last rites. Interment was in Ferguson cemetery beside her son Clarence.
Relatives who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
Jungerberg, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Hanson and Mrs. Eddie Konradi of Odebolt,
Mrs. Ellen Stone, Mr. and Mrs. Luverne Brucker and daughter of Omaha,
Mr. and Mrs. Arden Kullberg of Lohrville, Mr. Kermit Benson of Kiron,
Bud Maas of Rickets, Elmer Kullberg of Boyer and Mrs. And Mrs. C. E.
Peterson of Dow City.
Anna Marie Kullberg passed away at the Cherokee hospital
September 9, 1946 at the age of 77 years and 4 days. She was the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. N. Benson of Kiron and was born at Keokuk,
Iowa, September 5, 1869.
On March 7, 1889 she was married to Andrew P. E. Kullberg at
Arthur, Iowa. To this union four children were born, two preceding her
in death. Clarence Allworth died at the age of four and Mrs. Connie
Walters of Odebolt was taken in death. She leaves one son, Arden of
Lohrville, one daughter, Mrs. Alta Jungerberg of Odebolt and five
grandchildren, Arlie, Donna and Maury Lee Kullberg of Fort Dodge, Mrs.
Lois Brucker of Omaha and Bud Maas of Rickets, her husband in the
Cherokee hospital, four sisters, Jennie Read of Oskaloosa, Helen Rolfe
of San Diego, Calif., Ellen Stone of Omaha, Esther Lundgren of Denison,
one brother, Fred Bensen of Los Angeles, Calif.
Not much is known here of her life as she has been a patient in
the Cherokee hospital for many years. She has always been well
physically and has carried on the duties assigned to her with pride and
great care. She became physically ill about a month ago.
