Muenster - Mass of Christian burial for Margaret Susan Neu
Kupper, 99, of Muenster is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred
Heart Church in Muenster with Fr. Ken Robinson and Msgr Hubert Neu
officiating. A Rosary and Vigil are set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the
funeral home. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Muenster under
the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster.
Mrs. Kupper died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008 at her home.
She was born in Lindsay on January 28, 1909 to Joe and Elizabeth
Neu. She attended school in Lindsay.
She married John Kupper on November 26, 1935 in Lindsay. They
continued living in Lindsay until 1952, when they relocated to a dairy
farm near Valley View. They then moved to her present home in Muenster in 1974.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing, yard work and playing cards and
dominoes. She was a lifetime member of the Catholic faith, the last 34
years at Sacred Heart in Muenster. She was a member of St. Ann’s
Society and the Senior Snap Center.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Betty Rose and
Gerald Walterscheid of Muenster and Joan and David Walterscheid of
Muenster; sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Helen Kupper of Lewisville,
Jimmy and Janell Kupper of Valley View and Billy and Lisa Kupper of
Valley View, 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law
and sister-in-law, Robert and Florene Kupper of Marlin, daughter-in-law,
Ginger Kupper of Rockwall.
She was preceded in death by husband, John Kupper; son, Leroy
Kupper and parents, Joe and Elizabeth Neu.
Pallbearers will be Joe Kupper, Tim Kupper, Darrin Kupper, Justin
Kupper, Daryl Kupper, Bryan Kupper, Zach Kupper, Casey Kupper, John
Walterscheid, Doug Walterscheid, Ron Walterscheid, and Jason Walterscheid.
A dinner for the family and out-of-town guests is planned after
the graveside services at the KC Hall Wednesday, courtesy of the
Catholic Daughters of Muenster.
