Services Held In Aledo For Fred O. Lindquist

  Fred Oscar Lindquist, 69, Perryton Township, farmer, died at 8:15 Friday afternoon, Nov 20, 1964, in Mercer County Hospital, Aledo, where he had been a patient since Nov. 15. He had been ill the past two years.
  Funeral services were held at 9:30 Monday morning in St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Aledo. The Rev. C. M. Meyer, pastor, officiated. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery, Viola.
  Mr. Lindquist was born May 25, 1895 at Cable, a son of Frank and Emma Peterson Lindquist. He married Mary Kness Jan 6, 1926 of Viola. The couple farmed for nine years near Sherrard and moved to the farm in Perryton Township in 1935.
  He was a member of St. Catherine's Church, the Holy Name Society and the American Legion Post in Aledo.
  He was a veteran of World War I.
  Surviving are the widow; three sons, Dr. Max Lindquist, St. Paul, Minn., Robert, Aledo, and Bill, Washington, D.C.; a grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Harry Weidner, Sherrard, Mrs. Eva Robison, Beloit, Wis., and Mrs. Alice Roberts, Rock Island. A brother preceded him in death.
