Rex Arthur Love, 76, formerly of Joy, Ill., died Thursday,
April 26, 1984 at Georgetown Manors, Aledo at 8:10 p.m.
Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, April 28, at
Peniel Cemetery, Joy, under the direction of the Reiser-Trimble Funeral
Home. Memorials were designated to the Rex A. Love Memorial Fund.
He was born June 14, 1907 in Millersburg Township, Mercer County,
Ill., the son of Virgil A. and Lena Swanson Love.
He owned and operated a farm in Millersburg Township, east of Joy
for most of his adult life.
He is survived by two nieces, Adrienne Botsford of Phoenix, AZ
and Sara Criswell of Rock Island and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Biddle and
family of Joy.
