Patricia A. Lovett, 68, of Milan, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003, at
Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Larson Funeral Home, Rock
Island. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may
be made to the family.
Pat was born Dec. 15, 1934, in Rock Island, the daughter of
Stanley and Helen Schafer Wilson. She married Ralph E. Lovett on Dec.
20, 1952, in Milan. He died Nov. 1, 1994.
Pat was a homemaker for her family. She was past president of the
P.T.A. at the former Eddy School, Milan. She enjoyed bowling, music,
dancing and, most of all, being with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa (James) Nelson, Moline;
grandchildren, Heather and Adam Haskins and Ryan and Reid Lovett, all of
Alton, Ill., and Jessica and Eric Mack, both of Moline; sister and
brother-in-law, Leota and Pete Hantz Sr., Rock Island; nieces, Helen
Smith, Moline, and Cathy DeSpain, Chicago; nephews, John Hantz,
Bloomfield Hills, Mich., Pete Hantz Jr., Rock Island, David Hantz,
Moline, Steven DeSpain, Green Bay, Wis.; 13 great-nieces and nephews;
and many cousins including, Pat Wilson, Milan.
In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death
by a daughter, Deborah Suggs; a son, Ralph "Duffy'' Lovett Jr.;
sisters, Lois Tabber and Mary Lou DeSpain; and a nephew, Stanley Hantz.
