  We extend our sympathy to the Lawrence Lucas family. Lawrence formerly lived in this neighborhood with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lucas and brothers Dale, Scott and Raphael. The past few years Lawrence, his wife and daughters lived in Peoria. The daughter is now married. The past 4 winters, Lawrence and Mrs. Lucas lived in Tucson, Arizona where Lawrence passed away Wednesday. Wheelans' Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. The remains were brought back to Rock Island Saturday evening. The Rosary was at Wheelan's 7:30 a.m. Monday followed by services in the St. Joseph's church, Rock Island at 9 a.m. with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island.
