| Matthias J. Lynch
Matt Lynch passed from this life at his home about four miles south of
Corning, Saturday, August, 27th, 1921. Funeral services were held at St.
Patrick's Catholic church Monday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by
Rev. Father Richard Dollard, and interment was made in Calvary cemetery.
Mr. Lynch was born in Ireland and was about 80 years of age at the time
of his demise. He had a stroke of paralysis about a year ago last spring
and recently had another stroke. Mr. Lynch was married to a Miss Lynch.
The wife and the following children survive Mr. Lynch: Dan, Lawrence,
Ed, Alice and Katherine Lynch, at home; Mrs. May Phillips, Miss
Elizabeth Lynch and Sister Lucretia, of Butte, Mont.; Mrs. Anna Kane, of
Mercer township, and James Lynch, who is in government service in San
Francisco, Cal. A large circle of friends will miss Mr. Lynch and all
extend sympathy to the loved ones.
