Deaths
James H. Lyons, 55, of Corning, passed away Saturday night,
November 1, at the Greater Community Hospital in Creston, following a long illness.
He is survived by his wife, the former Betty Dennis, a sister,
Mary Lyons of Corning; two brothers, his twin, Charles Lyons, of San
Diego, Calif. and William Lyons of Lincoln, Nebraska, and by his
father-in-law, Richard Dennis of Prescott.
Funeral services were held at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in
Corning, November 4 at 10 a.m., with Msgr. John Kovacs officiating.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. Military graveside rites were conducted
by Ourcq Post 117, American Legion.
