Mrs.
Lewis B. Mack
Anna Isabel Mack, daughter of Frank and Mary (Waters) Curry,
was born in Adams County, Iowa, January 23, 1895 and died Oct. 20, 1971
in Rosary Hospital, Corning, Iowa.
She was married on Oct. 19, 1920 to Lewis B. Mack, a longtime
hardware merchant in Corning. She was a lifetime resident of Adams County.
Mrs. Mack was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, a Charter
member of the Catholic Daughters of America, St. Patrick Altar Society,
and a life member of the Roseanns.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis B. Mack, a son
Joseph William, three grandchildren, her mother, father, one sister and
five brothers.
She is survived by her sons Robert Mack, his wife Patricia and
their children Anthony and Ann of Corning; Francis, his wife Phyllis and
their children, Daniel and Linda of Waterloo, Ia., Bruce and Andrew of
Corning; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Margaret Lenz, husband John and their
children Bernadette and Charles, all of Corning; Raphael, wife Joan and
their children, Michael and Jane of Sunrise Beach, Mo.; two sisters,
Mrs. Katie Houck of Gaston, Ore., and Mrs. Lula Casey of Griswold, Ia.;
one brother Earl Curry of Costa Mesa, Calif.
Funeral services were held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in
Corning, October 23, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Lloyd Connolly
officiating. Burial was in Calvary cemetery.
Pallbearers were her grandsons Daniel, Bruce, Andrew, Anthony
Mack, Charles Lenz and a grand-nephew, Patrick Quinn. The lector was
grandson Michael Mack. Servers at the mass were Marty Olive, Jim
Peterson, Eddie Sullivan and Tim Cruise, organist Mrs. …
