David Mack
Memorial Mass for David R. Mack, 51, of St. Louis Park, Minn.,
will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, at St. Patrick's Church, Andalusia.
The family will greet family and friends before the Mass,
starting at 9 a.m. at the church. A luncheon at the church will follow
the Mass. Following David's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
David died on Monday, March 7, 2011, at Park Nicollet Methodist
Hospital, St. Louis Park, after a short bout with cancer.
David Richard Mack was born on Feb. 11, 1960, Moline. He was the
son of James Richard and Theresa Mack. David married Laurie Price on
Aug. 19, 1989.
He graduated from Rockridge High School and attended Hamilton
Technical School, Davenport, receiving his degree as a mechanical
engineer. David was employed by McQuay International, Minnesota, for 10 years.
His latest project included lead designer of the air conditioning
system for the Freedom Tower in New York. David loved a good joke, being
a Miami Dolphins fan in Minnesota always brought a laugh, and his
collection of unique cookie jars, he preferred full.
Survivors include his wife, Laurie; and stepsons, Matthew (Chandra),
Zachery (Erica), and Adam Kurylo; his parents, Jim and Theresa Mack;
siblings, Mary (Gary) Rawlings, Kathy Adamson, Dan (Jeannine) Mack,
Cindy (Steve) Poetz, Lisa (Jim) VandeVoorde, Tom Mack, Peggy Hagedorn,
John Mack, Jim (Sally) Mack, Steven (Mychele) Mack, Susannne (Steve)
Burbridge, Tim (Selah) Mack, Jenny (Mike) Lawyer. He was a loving
grandfather, uncle, great-uncle, and will be missed by many.
Memorials may be made to the family or the American Cancer Society.
