Pat Mack of Corning died June 28, 2005 at her home.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 2, at St. Patrick's
Church in Corning. The Rev. Tan Tran will officiate the service. burial
will be in Calvary Cemetery in Corning. Open visitation will be 11 a.m.
to 8:30 p.m. Friday with the family receiving friends 6 to 7 p.m., 7:30
p.m. rosary and 8 p.m. Christian wake service at Coen-Beaty-Pearson
Family Funeral Service, 701 Seventh St., Corning. Memorials may be
directed to Alegent health Hospice, St. Patrick's Catholic Church,
Corning House of History or Corning Public Library.
Mrs. Mack, daughter of Alcie (Patterson) and Earl Harrison Johns,
was born Nov. 5, 1930, in Newcornerstown, Ohio. She graduated from
Corning High School and attended University of Northern Iowa in Cedar
Falls two years. On August 19, 1952, she married Robert John Mack at St.
Patrick's Church in Corning. She was a homemaker, worked as office
manager for Mack Trucking and school bus driver for Corning Schools. She
was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Quilting Club, Invest Club,
St. Patrick's Altar Society, Happy Hollow Country Club, Bridge Club and
VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Mack of Corning; two
children, Tony (wife Patty) Mack of Ogden and Anne (husband Tom) Russell
of Apopka, Fla.; sister-in-law, Betty Johns of Phoenix, Ariz.; seven
grandchildren, Ryan Mack, Aaron Mack, Jenny Mack, Timothy Mack, Jonathan
Mack, Alisha Russell, Lauren Russell; and numerous nieces, nephews and
other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Earl Johns Jr.
and infant daughter Josita Mack.
