Bob Mack, 84, of Corning died Dec. 17, 2005, at Israel House in Ames.

  Services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 22 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Corning. The Rev. Tan Tran will officiate the service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at Corning with military honors by American Legion Ourcq Post No. 117 in Corning. Open visitation will be noon to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday with family present from 5 to 7:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. rosary service and 8 p.m. Christian wake at Coen-Beaty-Pearson Family Funeral Service, 701 Seventh St., Corning. Memorials may be directed to Alegent Health Home Care Services and St. Patrick Catholic Church, both of Corning, or Israel Family Hospice House of Ames.
  Mr. Mack, son of Isabelle (Curry) and Lewis Mack, was born Sept. 30, 1921, in Corning. He graduated from Corning High School in 1939 and attended Creighton university.
  On Aug. 19, 1952, he married Patricia Ann Johns at St. Patrick's Church in Corning. He was a farmer in Adams County, and owner/operator of Mack Trucking. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, American Legion, VFW, Happy Hollow Country Club and founding member of the Adams County Speedway. He served in the U.S. Army.
  Survivors include a son, Tony (wife Patty) Mack of Ogden; daughter Anne (husband Tom) Russell of Apopka, Fla.; brother Frances (wife Phyllis) Mack of Corning; sister Mary Margaret (husband John) Lenz of East Stroudsburg, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Aaron, Jenny, Timothy and Jonathan Mack, Alisha and Lauren Russell; sisters-in-law Joan Mack-Gephardt of Mission, Texas, and Betty Johns of Mesa, Arizona; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Pat, in June 2005; infant daughter Josita; two brothers, Raphael and infant Joseph William; and brother in law Earl Johns Jr.
