Obituary

  Miss Nellie Mahoney, daughter of Mrs. David Mahoney, died at the home of her mother in this city on Thursday morning at 10:30 of dysentery, aged 51 years. She was born in Massachusetts in January 1855, and with her parents came to this county a number of years ago. The father and only brother passed to the unknown some years since. She was the only child living and was a great comfort to her aged mother. The deceased had been an invalid all her life, never being able to walk, but had gained a fair education and was a great reader and was thoroughly informed on current events and historical subjects. Her death leaves her aged mother without a member of her family living. The funeral will be held from St. Patrick's Catholic church today at 9 o'clock, conducted by Father R. Dollard. Interment in Calvary cemetery.
