Beverly Jean McCann, 41, of Urbandale died Sunday at home. The
cause of death is undetermined.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Holy Spirit parish here.
The Revs. James Chiaro, Dennis Trausch and Arthur McCann will officiate.
A Christian Wake service will be heald at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the
Coen-Beaty Funeral Home here. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
McCann was born Jan 17, 1945, in Creston to Dale and Alberta (nee
Purdy) Vetterick. She married Michael McCann April 8, 1966, in Denver, Colo.
She was a homemaker and had lived five years in Urbandale and
seven years in Topeka, Kan. She was a member of the St. Pius X Catholic
Church in Urbandale, Compass Club, and Federated Garden Club.
Survivors include her husband, Michael of Urbandale, a son, David
McCann at home; Mr. & Mrs. H.R. Bennett of Creston; two brothers,
Galen of Kelly, Iowa, and Alan Vetterick of Gainsville, Fla.; two
sisters, Judy Wahe and Denise Jay of Albuquerque, N.M.; and her
mother-in-law, Eileen McCann of Creston.
