Mrs. C. McCann dies here at 94

  Mrs. James (Catherine) McCann, 94 of Creston, died at the Creston Manor nursing home at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday after a long illness. She had lived in Creston since 1880.
  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Malachy's Catholic church. Rev. Fr. Otho Sullivan, the pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary cemetery. Rosary services will be held at Coen's Home for Funerals at 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
  Catherine Stulz was born in Germany, March 19, 1878. She was the daughter of Joseph and Anna Berkle Stulz. She came to Creston from Germany with her family in 1880 and her father operated a meat market here in the 1880s and 1890s.
  She was married at Creston, Sept. 26, 1906 to James McCann, who died in 1958.
  Mrs. McCann is survived by two sons, Vincent McCann of Creston and Dr. Francis J. McCann of California, Mo.; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
