Obituary

  Funeral services for Mrs. C. E. (Mary Sullivan) McCann, who died at her home in Creston Monday evening, were held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic church at 11 a.m. today. Celebrants of the mass were Rev. Fr. Patrick Bacon, the pastor and Rev. Fr. Arthur McCann of Westphalia. Assisting were Rev. Fr. George Spiegelhalter of Creston, Rev. Fr. John Clark of Waukee, Rev. Fr. Daniel Clark of Des Moines, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Paul Connelly of Des Moines, Rev. Fr. Sam Cordaro of Afton, and Rev. Fr. Dominic, O.S.B. of Conception, Mo. Casket bearers were Hugh McEvoy, C. C. (Bud) Carl, Frank B. Miller, Leo McManus, Jim McDonald, and Gene Hawks. Burial was in Calvary cemetery.
