Cleo Gilbert Moore
Glidden - Cleo Gilbert (Denny) Moore, 80, of Glidden died
Thursday at 5:35 a.m. at St. Anthony Regional Hospital. Carroll,
following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Dahn
and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden with Rev. Thomas Parrott
officiating. Burial will be in the Westlawn Cemetery, Glidden, under the
direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home, Glidden.
Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in
Glidden after 5 p.m., Friday.
Mr. Moore, son of Harlan and Delia Smith Moore, was born on April 15,
1901 at Bethany, Mo. His marriage to Beulah Davidson took place on May
3, 1933 a t Glidden. She died in 1959. His marriage to Ethel Caney took
place on Nov. 21, 1960 at Glidden. She died in 1975. He was affiliated
with the United Methodist Church, Glidden. He was in the general truck
business most of his life and for many years was a sexton at the
Westlawn Cemetery, Glidden. He had been a resident of Glidden since 1919.
Surviving are two sons, Bill of Davenport and Jim of New Orleans,
La; two daughters, Mrs. Bud (Carol) d'Happart and Mrs. LaVerne (Marian)
Feld, both of Garland, Texas; 12 grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by
his wives and an infant son.

Glidden - Funeral services for Cleo Gilbert (Denny ) Moore,
80, of Glidden, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dahn and Woodhouse
Funeral Home in Glidden with Rev. Thomas Parrott, pastor of the United
Methodist Church, officiating.
Mrs. Don Hansen, organist, played "Red River Valley"
and the "Lord's Prayer."
Pallbearers were Norman Soyer, Gary Moore, Michael Moore, Bruce
Davidson, Larry Davidson and Robert Frazier. Honorary pallbearers were:
Basil Hay, Albert Hupp, John Sylvester and George Gute. Interment was in
the Westlawn Cemetery in Glidden under the direction of the Dahn and
Woodhouse Funeral Home, Glidden.
Mr. Moore died Thursday at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in
Carroll following a brief illness.
