| Mrs. Della Moore
Mrs. Della Mae Moore, 81, resident of Glidden since 1923, was
found dead in her home Tuesday afternoon, July 25. Carroll County
Medical Examiner, Dr. Roland B. Morrison, ruled that death was due to
natural causes.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Huffman
Funeral Home in Glidden, where the body may be viewed after 7 p.m.
Wednesday. The Rev. Calvin Peterson will officiate; and burial will be
in Westlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Moore, the former Della Mae Smith, was born Jan. 21, 1880,
in Harrison County, Mo. coming to Carroll County in September, 1909. She
was the widow of Harlan Moore, who died in 1940. She was a member of the
Methodist Church in Glidden.
She is survived by one son, Cleo Moore, Glidden; four
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
her husband, parents, two sisters and three brothers.
