Joseph H. Mosman
Joseph H. Mosman, 74, 410 West 13th St. Carroll, died at the
St. Anthony Regional Hospital Tuesday evening. He had resided since July
1974 at the present address.
Mass of the resurrection will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Lawrence
Church in Carroll. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Henry B. Karhoff will officiate.
Friends may call at the Twit Funeral Home in Carroll after 2
p.m., Thursday. The rosary will be recited Thursday at 3, 8 and 8:45
p.m. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of the
Twit Funeral Home, Carroll.
Mr. Mosman, son of Anthony and Helena Pittner Mosman, was born
Feb. 2, 1902 at Coon Rapids and received his education in Carroll. His
marriage to Elizabeth Ann Reck took place on April 25, 1925 at St.
Joseph's Church, Carroll. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and
St. Lawrence Church. He was a painter and a custodian at the Carroll
County State Bank for the past 13 1/2 years.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Dwight (Lorraine)
Doherty of Knoxville, Mrs. D. J. (Olive) Boom of San Bernadino, Calif.;
four sons, Arden of Carroll, Roland of Boone, Lon of Carroll and Don
Mosman of Glendora, Calif. Also surviving are one brother, Anton of
Carroll, 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Mosman was preceded in death by two sons; Don in infancy and
Richard; one daughter, Mrs. Calvin Kruse and two grandchildren.
