| Luella Myers
Luella Myers, 78, of Viola, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 1990 at
Mercer County Hospital, Aledo. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Friday
at. St. John's Catholic Church, Viola, with Rev. James DeBisschop
officiating. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 26, 1911 in Mercer County, a daughter of Don
and Martha Johnson DeBlock. She married Merrill D. Myers on Mar. 13,
1934 in Aledo.
She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan M. Larsen of Perrault Falls,
Canada; three sons, James L. of Moline, John M. of New Windsor and
Warren E. of Viola; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a
brother Edward DeBlock of Aledo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband on Jan 18, 1990.
Jinks Funeral Home, Viola was in charge of arrangements.
