Mrs. Albert (Anna) Neppl
Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday, June 15, at St. Augustine Church in Halbur for Mrs. Albert
(Anna) Neppl, 78, of Halbur, who died Sunday, June 12, at St. Joseph
Hospital in Omaha, Neb.
Burial will be at St. Augustine Cemetery in Halbur.
Concelebrants for the Mass will be the Revs. Eugene Ceperly,
Henry Meyer and Louis Meyer, O.S.B.
Lector will be her grandson Dr. Karl Eischeid. Gift bearers will
be granddaughters Karyl Eischeid, Jane Snyder and Jeanne Reser.
Casket bearers will be Gene Neppl. Rollin Tlefenthaler, Don Renze,
Arden Neppl, Russ Rupiper and LeRoy Heinrichs.
Visitation will begin a t 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Twit Funeral Home
in Carroll. Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 3 p.m. by the Catholic
Daughters of Templeton and at 8 p.m.
Born March 10, 1910, a t Roselle, Mrs. Neppl was a daughter of
George and Caroline (Meyer) Renze.
On Feb. 7, 1927, she was married to Albert Neppl at Holy Angels
Church in Roselle by the Rev. Louis Anthofer.
Mrs. Neppl was a member of the St. Augustine Guild, Senior
Citizens Group of Halbur, Auxiliary of American Legion Ehlers-Gerken
Post 694 of Arcadia, and Catholic Daughters of Americas of Templeton.
She had resided in Halbur until she moved to Carroll nine months ago.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. J o h n (Alice) Eischeid of
Carroll; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Neppl of Halbur; brother, George
Renze, and his wife, Dorothy, of Carroll; sister, Mrs. Victor (Helen)
Rupiper of Carroll; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, in 1975; a son,
Lawrence, in 1982: a grandchild, Anne Marie Neppl; brothers, Albert and
Lawrence; and sisters, Hattie Wessling, Clara Wiese. Elizabeth Tigges
and Mary in infancy.
