| Henry J. Neu
Henry Joseph Neu, 62, of 1060 Twenty-ninth street, Marion,
died Saturday at his home after a long illness. Born July 17, 1912, in
Lindsey, Texas, he moved to the Cedar Rapids-Marion area in 1950.
He was a member of St. Joseph's church in Marion and an employee of FMC
Corp. - Crane and Excavator division.
Surviving are his wife, Anne; two sons, Patrick of Cedar Rapids,
and Robert, stationed with the army in Korea; two daughters, Mrs. Harry
Boyd of Jefferson, Mo., and Mary Neu of Marion; two brothers, John of
Lindsey, Texas, and Nick of Slaton, Texas; and two sisters, Mrs. Gus
Schmidt of Alice, Texas, and Mrs. Mary Bierschenk of Valley View, Texas.
Services are pending at the Stewart funeral home, where friends
may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
