Frances O'Hearn
Frances O'Hearn, 74, of Aledo died Tuesday morning, Mar. 3,
1987 at Mercer County Hospital.
A funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m., Thursday at St.
Catherine Roman Catholic Church, Aledo. Rev. Leo J. McKenna S.J., pastor
officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Keithsburg.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. this evening, Wednesday, at
the Fippinger Funeral Home, Aledo, where a prayer service will be
conducted at 8 p.m.
Memorials may be left at Fippinger's for St. Catherine's Church
or the Warren Achievement School, Monmouth.
The former Frances Greer was born May 5, 1912 in Mercer County, a
daughter of Tom and Sue Rideout Greer. She attended Mercer County
Schools and graduated from Aledo High School. She married Ovid O'Hearn
on Dec. 25, 1937 in St. Catherine's Rectory.
The couple resided in Aledo most of their married life.
She was a member of St. Catherine Church and the New Boston
Conservation Club.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Sheila Tracy,
rural Aledo; two sons, William O'Hearn of Taylor Ridge and Patrick of
Omaha, NE; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister,
Gertrude Hodgson of apache Jct., AZ.
