Calvin James Otto

  Mass of Christian burial for Calvin James Otto, 48, of Ravensdale, Wash., is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church in Muenster. Fr. Ken Robinson will celebrate the mass. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Services are directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster.
  Mr. Otto died Saturday, May 24, 2008, near Seattle, Wash.
  Born Aug. 5, 1959, in Muenster, the third of the three children of Ray and Billie Otto, Calvin grew up in Muenster, attended elementary school at Sacred Heart and then graduated from Muenster Public School in 1977. He then attended North Texas State University in Denton where he received a bachelor’s degree in business in 1982. His work career began with construction work with his step-father, Doc Reinart, in the Fort Worth area. He stayed in DFW area, working part-time until graduating from college. His first job then was in Corpus Christi, later returning to the DFW area to work. In 1995, he took a job in Seattle, Wash., working for the Ellis Don Construction Company at the University of Washington and then for Lease Crutcher Lewis as a project engineer in the Seattle-Tacoma area, where he completed numerous projects. He was an employee of LCL at the time of his sudden death. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed the outdoors.
  He is survived by his mother, Lillian (Billie) Reinart of Muenster; step-father, Vincent “Doc” Reinart of Muenster; sister, Cheryl Otto Felderhoff and husband, John of Garland; and brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Helen Otto of Arlington.
  He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Bernard Otto on Aug. 18, 1987.
  Pallbearers will be Lenzy Dyer, Phil Wolf, Kevin Campbell, David Felderhoff, Mark Mollenkopf, Brad Hudson, Greg “Hoss” Knabe, and Ken McCollim. Honorary pallbearer will be Bob Voss.
  A Rosary/Vigil is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
  The family requests memorials be made to Cooke County Home Health.
