Mrs. George Parker Answers Summons

  Mrs. George Parker, age 43, of Bancroft, Nebraska, succumbed at St. Joseph's Hospital in Omaha, Friday, October 9, 1936. Death was due to cancer.
  The funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at Bancroft, conducted by Rev. C. P. Winkle, pastor of the Bancroft Presbyterian church. Interment was made in Lyons cemetery. A host of relatives and friends paid their final tribute to her memory by attending the services. Those present from a distance were: G. E. Page and family of Yutan, Nebraska, Mrs. W. A. Page of Decatur, Mrs. H. Wolcott of Blue Hill, Mrs. F. F. Parker, H. C. Moeller and family of Decatur, Arthur Parker of Lusk, Wyoming, and Mrs. Leota Kimm of Schaller, Iowa.
          Obituary
  Sadie Emma Parker, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Page, was born at Decatur, Nebraska, December 21, 1892 and succumbed October 9, 1936, at the age of 43 years, 9 months and 18 days. She attended the Decatur schools and was a graduate of the class of 1911. She spent her entire life in this section of Nebraska.
  She was united in marriage to George J. Parker at Fremont, Nebraska, July 12, 1912. To this union four children were born. She was a member of the Episcopal church, and lived a Christian life by being a good wife and mother, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to her neighbors and friends.
  She leaves to mourn her untimely death, her husband, four daughters, Mrs. L. R. Nelson, Phyllis, Georgia and Betty Parker, her mother, Mrs. W. A. Page, one brother, G. E. Page of Yutan, and one sister, Mrs. Howard Wolcott of Blue Hill, Nebraska, and one grandson, Richard Lee Nelson.

Mrs. George J. Parker

  Death came last Friday morning to Mrs. George J. Parker at the St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha to relieve her of the intense suffering from an incurable disease. Mrs. Parker had been in poor health for several months and about two weeks before her death was taken to the hospital for treatment, but the doctors found she was suffering from a cancer and could only ease the remaining days her life and she passed peacefully away.
  Sadia Emma Page, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Page, was born at Decatur, Nebr., on December 21, 1892, being at her death 43 years, 9 months and 18 days of age. She spent her girlhood at Decatur and was a member of the graduating class of 1911 of that school. Practically all her life has been live in Eastern Nebraska.
  On July 12, 1912 she was united in marriage to George J. Parker at Fremont, Nebr., going to Hastings to reside. After living there for two years they move to Decatur. They also live in Macy, Lincoln, Omaha and Walthill. In the spring of 1931 they move to Bancroft, where they have since resided. This union was blessed with four daughters: Doris (Mrs. L. R. Nelson), Phyllis, Georgia and Betty, who with the bereaved husband are left to mourn her departure. She is also survived by one grandson, Richard Lee Nelson, her mother, one brother and one sister.
  Funeral services were held at the home and the Presbyterian church Monday afternoon. Rev. C. F. Winkle officiating, and burial made in the Lyons cemetery. The church was filled to capacity with relatives and friends who wished to pay their respects to the memory of the deceased.
  Mrs. Parker was a loving mother and wife, a good neighbor and friend and a host of friends join in extending sympathy to the bereaved family.
Out-of-town near relatives who attended the funeral were Mrs. W. A. Page, Mrs. F. F. Parker and H. C. Moehler and family of Decatur; G. E. Page and family of Yutan, Nebr.; Mrs. Howard Wolcott of Blue Hill, Nebr.; Arthur Parker of Lusk, Wyo. and many other relatives.
