Anna Marie Callahan Patton

  Anna Marie Callahan, daughter of Patrick and Mary Callahan, was born in Humboldt, Allen county, Kansas, April 21, 1883 and departed this life February 8, 1915, at the home of her parents near Keithsburg. She was united in marriage September 10, 1902, to Clyde Patten. To this union two children were born. One died in infancy and Marie Matilda died at the age of seven months. She leaves to mourn her departure besides her parents, two brothers, John Wm. at home and Fred Edward of Seaton. James E. preceded her to the other world July 10, 1909. Besides her parents and brothers a host of relatives and friends mourn her departure.
  She was stricken with pneumonia on January 31 and was a patient sufferer until her death.
  The deceased was a faithful member of the Catholic church all her life.
  Funeral services were in St. Mary's church Keithsburg. Wednesday morning Requiem Mass was conducted by Rev. Father Timmins. Interment was made in St. Mary's cemetery at Keithsburg. Her six cousins, James Murphy, James Leahigh, Robert, Ward and Charles Callahan and Ward Volentine acted as pall bearers.
  The people from a distance who attended the funeral were Mrs. J. L. Crook, her aunt of Topeka, Kans., and Grace Callahan, her cousin, who is attending school at Villa de Chantal, …
