Agnes U. Paul
Agnes Uldeen Paul, daughter of Clarence and Eva Scribner Bray,
was born Jan. 21, 1913, in Douglas County, Mo., and entered into rest
July 11, 1985, at the Rosary Hospital in Corning, Iowa at the age of 72
years, 5 months and 20 days.
She was united in marriage Dec. 11, 1928, with William J. Paul in
Corning, Iowa. Two children were born to this union. They have lived on
the same farm west of Lenox, Iowa, since 1938. Mrs. Paul spent her
entire life in Adams and Taylor County, Iowa.
She was a life-long member of the Christian Church. Her love and
interest were for her church, her home and family, and her many friends.
She enjoyed doing for others and will be remembered by many for favors bestowed.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Vivian Hammans and
Laverta Erickson; and a brother, Dwight Bray.
Survivors include her husband, William J. Paul of Lenox; a
daughter, Gloria Frame and husband Floyd, Jr. of Fort Collins, Colo.; a
son, Daryl Paul and wife Nita of West Valley, Utah; four brothers,
Edward and wife Madeena and Doyle and wife Irene, all of Chadwick, Mo.,
Cloyd and wife Armella of Colby, Kansas, and Ervin and wife Lois of
Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Doleen Winn and husband Carlos of Afton,
Iowa; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Christian Church in Lenox July
13 at 1:30 p.m. with Donald Jensen officiating. Interment was in Oak
Hill Cemetery, Corning, Iowa.
Music was furnished by Leta Crowell, organist, and Karen Shawler
and -Shirley Riley, vocalists. Casket
bearers were Darren, Delain, Jerry, David, Dick and Dirk Paul.

Agnes Bray and William Jacob Paul were married Tuesday,
December 11 with Rev. W. C. McClelland performing the ceremony at his
home. Mrs. Paul is the daughter of C. B. Bray of Merritt, Mo., and Mr.
Paul is the son of William Paul of near Prescott and is a young farmer
of the Prescott vicinity. Congratulations are extended.
