Cleland Paul Injured in Coal Car Mishap Here

  Cleland (Squirt) Paul of Corning, was hospitalized at Rosary hospital Tuesday afternoon with injuries received in a mishap at the Corning depot.
  He suffered a broken collar bone, head lacerations and other bruises while moving a coal car at the depot.

Deaths

  Cleland C. Paul, 60, of Corning, passed away Sunday afternoon at the Rosary Hospital in Coming. He had suffered a stroke on Friday. Survivors include his wife, Gloria; two daughters, Mrs. Susan Cox of Atlantic and Mrs. Pam Morrison of Creston; one son, Mike Paul of Creston; a brother Claude Paul and a sister, Grace Nevius, both of Corning and by six grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church in Corning October 9 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Roy Hjelmaas officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
