George Paul

  Wm. Paul was called to the bedside of his father George Paul Saturday at the hospital in Creston. Mr. Paul passed away at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Death was caused by blood poison. The funeral was held at Corning at 2 p. m. Tuesday, Oct. 21st.

Obituary

  The funeral of George Herman Paul was held at the Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock with Rev. E. S. Mencher in charge. Interment was made in the South cemetery. The deceased suffered a slight accident recently which affected his eye and resulted in his death at Community hospital, Creston, Ia., October 18.
  George Herman Paul, son of Jacob and Nancy Paul, was born October 4th, 1872 near Brighton, Jefferson county and died October 18, 1924, at the age of 52 years and 14 days. He was married to Jeanette Page, September 6, 1893. There are four living children and six grandchildren. The children are Claude Paul, Emma Pederson and Grace Swain all of Casper, Wyoming, and William Paul of Corning. Two brothers who survive him are William Paul of Prescott and Curtis Paul of Tellraed, Colorado, also one sister Mrs. Anna Duncan of Corning. Mr. Paul came to Lenox when he was only thirteen years old and was working there when the accident occurred which caused his death.
