Janice Plowman
Janice L. Plowman, 62, of Muscatine, Iowa, died Tuesday, Jan.
29, 2008, at the Carrington Place Care Center in Muscatine.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, at
the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services,
Muscatine. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine.
Casketbearers will be David Viner, Damon Viner, Alex Bridger, Steve
Hammond, Jim Street and Kenny Bodeen. Visitation for Janice will be 4-7
p.m. today at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation
Services. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in
memory of Janice. Sympathy notes may be left for the Plowman family at

Janice L. Merz was born May 5, 1945, in Viola, the daughter of
Paul and Bernice Fell Merz. Janice was united in marriage to John
Bridger and they later divorced, and she then married Darrell Plowman on
Dec. 15, 2000, in Muscatine.
Janice worked for various businesses in Muscatine. She enjoyed
playing bingo, going to the casino, her dog, Billie, riding on the
Harley with Darrell and spending time with family and friends.
Janice will be deeply missed by her husband, Darrell, Muscatine; two
children, Dwight Bridger and his wife, Debra, Winterset, Iowa, and
Tangie Viner and her husband, David, Muscatine; two stepdaughters; Judy
VanDolah, Muscatine and Barb LaRue and her husband, Mike, Muscatine; her
mother, Bernice Merz, Muscatine; seven grandchildren; one
great-grandchild; and one sister, Dee Carey, Milan. Janice was preceded
in death by her father.
