Wade Presnell

  Scranton - Wade Presnell, 70, of Scranton, died at St. Anthony Regional Hospital, Carroll, Thursday following a lingering illness. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Scranton, with the Rev. Msgr. O. W. Koester officiating.
  Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home, Scranton, after 3 p.m. Friday. There will be a parish rosary at 8 p.m. Friday at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home, Scranton.
Mr. Presnell, son of Dr. J. W. and Emma Frease Presnell, was born on July 8, 1907 at Scranton. His marriage to Isabel Reinart took place on Sept. 9, 1929 at St. Peter and Paul's Catholic Church, Carroll, with the Rev. Schenkelberg officiating. He was a retired custodian of the Scranton Schools where he had worked for over 35 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Scranton. He was a lifelong resident of the Scranton area.
  Surviving are his wife, Isabel of Scranton; a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Joan) Happe of Carroll; a son, James W. of Ames; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Irene Later of Idaho Falls, Idaho and a brother, Frank B. Presnell of Marshalltown.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bryce and Lowell.
