Lyle Pringle

  Lyle I. Pringle, 91, of Annawan, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2005, at the Good Samaritan Village, Geneseo.
  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Annawan Community United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dan Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Annawan Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Annawan Chapel of Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services. Memorials may be given to the church or the Annawan-Alba Rescue Unit.
  Lyle Pringle was born July 24, 1913, in Milwaukee, Wis., son of Bert and Minnie Farwell Pringle. He married Della Kramer on May 11, 1935, in Grand Detour, Ill.
  He owned and operated Pringle's Grocery in Erie, Ill., for nine years. Then he purchased and operated Pringle's Locker in Annawan for 21 years until retiring in 1976.
  He was a member of Annawan Community United Methodist Chuch and Erie Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed golfing and playing cards. He was an avid Chicago White Sox fan.
  His wife, Della; daughter and son-in-law, Shelia and Ron Clary, Geneseo; son-in-law, Harry Seger, Annawan; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren survive him. A daughter, Barbara Seger; a brother, Merle Pringle; and his parents preceded him in death.
