Ellsworth Redfern
The following item appeared in the Sunday issue of the Des Moines Register:
Ellsworth Redfern, 70, of 2710 Arnolds road, died Saturday at
Iowa Lutheran hospital after an illness of two years. Services will be
Monday at Hamilton's Funeral home, with burial at Corning, Iowa.
Mr. Redfern for 25 years was chief chemist for the Iowa state
department of agriculture until he retired two years ago. He also was
vice-president of the National Association of Food and Drug officials for two years.
Surviving him are his wife, Frances, and a daughter, Juliette, Portland, Ore.
