Obituary

  Mrs. Herman Reiff passed away at her home last night after suffering a year with cancer. The arrangements for the funeral have not been made at this writing.

Death of Mrs. Reiff

  Funeral services for Mrs. Herman Reiff, whose death was mentioned last week, were conducted in SS. Peter and Paul's church Saturday morning. Mrs. Reiff had been suffering for two years with a cancer of the face and death was due to gangrene of the face.
  Mrs. Margaret Reiff, nee Fehring, was born in Hanover, Germany, September 29, 1836, and came to America when a young girl. She was married in 1864 to Herman Reiff at Galena, Illinois. Her husband died September 7, 1914. She is survived by the following sons: Joseph, John, Mathew, Herman, Henry, Bernard, Steve, and one daughter, Mary,
  She was a devout member of the Catholic church and was regular in attendance when able to go.
