Obituary

  Breda - Mrs. Mary Christine Reiff, 92, of Breda, died at 3:45 a.m. Friday, October 16, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll where she had been a patient for two and a half weeks.
  Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernard church in Breda at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 19, with the Rev. Robert McClintock officiating. Burial will be in .the parish cemetery.
  The Breda American Legion Auxiliary will form an honor guard at the church.
  Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Breda after 2 p.m. Sunday. Rosaries will be recited at 3 p.m. (Ladies Guild) and 8:45 p.m. A scriptural prayer service will be conducted by the parish at 8 p.m. Sunday.
  Mrs. Reiff is survived by a brother, Dr. L. W. Bohnenkamp, Bakersfield, Calif.; brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews.
  She was preceded in death by nine brothers, a sister, her first husband Mathew Heires on December 24, 1932, and her second husband, Herman J. Reiff, on March 3, 1960.
  Mrs. Reiff was born July 25, 1889, at Breda, a daughter of John and Caroline Bruning Bohnenkamp. She was married June 30, 1914, to Mathew Heires at St. Bernard church in Breda by the late Rev. Edgar Schleyer. On November 25, 1935, she was married to Herman J. Reiff at Visitation church, Maryhill, by the Rev. Underberg.
  She was a member of St. Bernard church, the Ladies Guild and the Breda American Legion Auxiliary. She spent her entire life in the Breda area and received her education in St. Bernard School at Breda.
