Clarence L. Reinart
Clarence L. Reinart, 66, of 927 Salinger Avenue, Carroll, died
at 10:40 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital. He had
been ill for two years. Funeral rites will be held Wednesday. At 8:30
a.m. the Rev. James R. Smith will celebrate the mass of the resurrection
at Kuemper High School, where Mr. Reinart had been custodian. Mass of
the resurrection also will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence
Church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Twit Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Monday.
The rosary will be recited at 8 and 8:45 p.m. Monday and at 3, 8 and
8:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Mr. Reinart, son of John and the late Emma Schenking Reinart, was
born in Halbur Jan. 25, 1908, and educated there. His marriage to
Dorothy Anna Dufner took place at St. Lawrence Church in Carroll June 1,
1940. He farmed near Roselle until 1940 and then worked for the Chicago
and North Western Railway Company. In 1948 he started working at St.
Angela Academy and in 1954, at Kuemper. He was a member of St. Lawrence Church.
Mr. Reinart's survivors include his wife; four children, Mrs.
Joseph (Mary Lou) Hartl of Willey, Margaret, Mrs. Donald R. (Marlene)
Tigges and Merlin, all of Carroll; 13 grandchildren; his father, of
Manning; four brothers, Harold of Glidden, Hilbert of Carroll, Leo oŁ
Sioux City and Melvin of Chicago; and two sisters, Mrs. John (Elvira)
Sporrer of Glidden and Mrs. Joe (Coletta) Hoffman of Manning. A
granddaughter preceded him in death.
