Dorothy A. Reinart
Dorothy A. Reinart, 76, of Carroll died Wednesday, Dec, 14, at
St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.
Mass of the Christian burial for Mrs. Reinart will be at 10:30
a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, at St, Lawrence Church in Carroll with the Rev.
Gerald Hartz officiating.
Gift bearers will be Donna Hartl, Carol Pates, Lisa Tigges and
Mary Petersen. Lectors will be Mark and Mike Tigges.
Casket bearers will be Jeff Reinart, John Reinart, Brian Reinart,
Keith Hartl, Tony Tigges and Matt Tigges.
Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carroll.
Visitation began at 3 p.m. today at Twit Funeral Home in Carroll,
where a rosary was recited at 3:30 p.m. and a vigil service will be held
at 7:30 p.m. today.
Born Feb. 6, 1918, in Carroll County, she was a daughter of Carl
and Mary (Loneman) Dufner. She attended St. Lawrence School in Carroll.
On June 1, 1940, she married Clarence Reinart at St. Lawrence
Church in Carroll. Mrs. Reinart was a cook at Kuemper High School for 12
years. She had been a resident at St. Anthony Nursing Home for the past
seven months.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Parish.
Survivors include four children, Mary Lou Hartl of Carroll,
Margaret Reinart of Lake City, Merlin Reinart and his wife, Betty, of
Carroll and Marlene Tigges and her husband, Donald R., of Carroll; 13
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Reinart was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,
Clarence; a sister, Sister Auberta; a son-in-law, Joe Hartl; and a
grandchild. Renee Reinart.
