Thomas Reinart
Thomas Reinart, 62, of Carroll, formerly of Glidden, died
Friday, April 29, 2011, at the Carroll Health Center in Carroll.
Mass of the Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, May 3, at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Glidden with
the Revs. Anthony Pick, Timothy Johnson and Joseph Dillinger
concelebrating assisted by Deacons Gary Schon and Louis Meiners.
Lector for the Mass will be Lynn Stork.
Eucharistic ministers will be Gary and Sherri Schon.
Gift bearers will be Wilma and Robert Reinart.
Casket bearers will be Don Schon, Lynn Stork, Mark Caraher,
Charlie Smith, Dave McNamara, and Bruce Jepson.
Honorary casket bearers will be the Glidden football, and boys
and girls basketball teams.
Burial will be in Scranton Township Cemetery.
Friends may call at Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden
after 3:30 p.m. Monday. There will be a rosary at 4 p.m. by the Knights
of Columbus and a Christian wake service at 7 p.m. by the parish.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse
Funeral Home in Glidden.
Born Oct. 19, 1948, at Carroll, he was a son of Harold and Alice
(Everets) Reinart.
Tom grew up on the Reinart family farm south of Glidden and
attended school in Carroll and Manning.
He was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Glidden
and the Carroll Knights of Columbus Council 780. Tom enjoyed playing
cards, playing Bingo, gardening, going on outings, and he was an avid
Glidden-Ralston Wildcats fan.
Surviving are a sister Wilma Reinart of Carroll; a brother Robert
Reinart of Carroll; an aunt and uncle Melvin and Geri Reinart of Mesa,
Ariz.; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his parents.
