| L. Furn Robbins
Funeral services for L. Furn Robbins, 88, of Keithsburg, were
held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the First Christian Church, Keithsburg, with
Rev. Don Ballew, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Greenmound Cemetery
under the direction of the Olin-Jinks Funeral Home, Keithsburg.
Memorials were made to First Christian Church.
Mrs. Robbins died Thursday, Aug. 25 at Mercer County Hospital.
The former Furn Brown was born Aug. 3, 1895 in Keithsburg,
daughter of David and Lydia Knox Brown. She attended the former Hazel
Dell School near Keithsburg.
On Jan. 14, 1914, she was married to James "Stevie"
Robbins in her parents home in rural Keithsburg. He died in 1967.
She was a member of the First Christian Church and the CWF of the church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Hulda Clark of Keithsburg; two
grandsons; four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
