DelMichael Roseboom
DelMichael W. Roseboom, 35, of Aledo, died Saturday, March 1,
2003 as a result of a car accicent west of Aledo, Services were 10:30
a.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo with the
Reverend John Crede officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery
rural Aledo where military services were conducted by Mercer County VFW
Post 1571. Visitation was 3-7 p.m. Monday, March 3, with the family
present from 5-7 p.m., at the funeral home where a memorial fund has
been established.
He was born July 17, 1967 in Chicago, a son of William F. and
Dorothy M. Peterson Roseboom. He graduated from Aledo High
School graduating in 1985. He also attended Blackhawk College. He
married Patricia Fuller Aug. 17, 1991 at St. Catherine's Church in
Aledo. She died April 13, 2001.
He was a United State Air Force veteran.
Del was employed by Rock Island Integrated Services as a
supervisor of roads and grounds at the Rock Island Arsenal.
He was a member of the Aledo United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed woodworking, carpentry and NASCAR.
He is survived by his mother: Dorothy Roseboom of Aledo; his
father: William Roseboom of Mt. Vernon, one sister: Gwendolyn Youmans
and a nephew, Alex Youmans both of Rosamond, Calif.; and special
friends: Corena Ferguson and Dave and Laurie Etter all of Aledo.
