Paul W. Ryner, 94, of Monmouth, formerly of Gerlaw, died
Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005, at Community Medical Center, Monmouth.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Turnbull, Monmouth. Interment
is in Mosher Cemetery, rural Monmouth. Friends may call on Tuesday and
Wednesday at the funeral home, with family present 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
He was born Oct. 6, 1910, in Monmouth Township, to Warren J. and
Stella Stevenson Ryner. He married Mildred L. Mills Oct. 14, 1939, in
Burlington, Iowa.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Barbara Walline, Cambridge;
sons, Bill Ryner, Seaton, Gene Ryner, Galesburg; brother, Robert Ryner,
Monmouth; sisters, Mary Lewis, Springfield, Mo., Mabel Berry, Peoria
Heights, Ill., Mary Valentino, California.; 16 grandchildren; 21
great-grandchildren.
