Jasper Obediah "Obe" Salmon, 83, Aledo, died Feb. 3,
2001, at Mercer County Hospital, Aledo.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday at Fippinger's, Aledo. Burial is in
Aledo Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Memorials to Mercer County Home, Aledo.
Surviving are his wife, Betty; children, Suellen Anderson,
Rockford, Stephen, Oak Park, Daniel, Aledo, Jeffrey, New Windsor, James,
Littleton, Colo., Timothy, Aledo, and Michael, Des Moines; 20
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Beulah, Colorado,
Velva, Arizona, Marshall, Harvard, Ill., and Floyd and Harold, both of Aledo.
