Bernice Shike, 89, of Seaton, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at
Monmouth Nursing Home.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hoover-Hall Memorial Chapel,
Monmouth. Visitation is 9:30 a.m. to services. Burial is in Warren
County Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Starting Point
Ministry, Monmouth.
Born Oct. 7, 1915, to William C. and Hilma V. Johnson Ranney, she
married C. Merlin Shike in 1936. He preceded her in death in 1974.
Survivors (and spouses) are her daughter, Doris A. (Lawrence)
Lee, Seaton; son, Gerald W. (Colleen) Shike, Bethel, Conn.;
daughter-in-law, Janet (Steve) Page, Evansville, Ind.; 10 grandchildren;
12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded
in death by a son, Charles; brother, Clyde Ranney; sisters, Bertha
Fredrickson and Mae Fredrickson.
