Margaret Emmeline Smith

  Seriously Ill -- Little Emmeline Smith was taken suddenly ill last week. She was taken to a. hospital in Creston and her condition is considered quite alarming. We understand the trouble is baffling the best physicians. No cause .for the trouble can be determined. The little lady is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Smith, residing south of Corning.

  Margaret Emmeline, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Smith, living south of Corning passed from this life Sunday morning of this week. The remains were brought home and the funeral held at the residence Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W. C. McCleland. The body was laid to rest in Oak Hill cemetery. Margaret Emmeline was born December 30, 1912, on her father's farm home. She was baptized by Rev C. G. Marshall, in October, 1913. For six years her happy smiling face and loving kindness brought sunshine and gladness to her parents and to her brother, Morris, who was her constant companion, and to all who knew her. After five weeks of suffering patiently borne she passed away as mentioned above. Mr. and Mrs. Smith have the sympathy, of the entire community in their loss.
