Mrs. Frank X. (Clara) Sporrer

  Templeton - Mass of the Christian Burial for Mrs. Frank X. (Clara) Sporrer, 84, of Templeton, will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at Sacred Heart church with the Rev. Eugene Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
  Mrs. Sporrer died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, at the Thomas Rest Haven Nursing Home at Coon Rapids where she had been a resident since April 23, 1971. She had been in failing health for the past year.
  Pallbearers will be the following grandsons: Greg Clawson, Larry, Lynn and Loran Sporrer, Danny and David Schon. Another grandson, Randy Schon, will be lector. Mass-servers will be Danny Kemper, Gary Sporrer and Bruce Irlmeier. Two grandchildren, Jeannie and Dave Sporrer, will be gift-bearers.
  Friends may call at the Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rosaries will be recited at 3 and 8:30 p.m. A scriptural prayer service by the parish will be conducted at 8 p.m.
  Mrs. Sporrer is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Owen (Inez) Ohlinger, Churdan, and Mrs. Louis (Dorothy) Schon, Glidden; two sons: Lawrence, Manning, and Vernice Sporrer, Templeton; 18 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother, Edward Kemper, and a sister, Mrs. John (Anna) Rohe, both of Carroll.
  She was preceded by her husband, Nov. 1, 1947; a daughter-in- law; two grandchildren; three brothers: Frank, Albert and William Kemper; three sisters: Catherine in infancy, Elizabeth Kemper and Mrs. Frank (Agnes) Irlmeier.
  Mrs. Sporrer was born May 11,1895, at Templeton, a daughter of Anton and Josephine Dultmeier Kemper. She spent her early life in the Templeton area and attended Sacred Heart school. She was married Sept. 18, 1923, to Frank X. Sporrer at Sacred Heart church by the late Msgr. F.H. Huesmann.
  After their marriage, they farmed in the Templeton area. In 1957 she moved to Templeton. She was a member of Sacred Heart church, the Ladies Guild and the American Legion Auxiliary.
