Frank Sporrer of Templeton Dies; Rites Wednesday
Templeton (THNS) - Frank X. Sporrer, 54, well-known farmer
died Saturday evening at St. Joseph's hospital, Omaha, where he had
undergone treatment the last few weeks. He had been afflicted with heart
trouble and complications the past few years.
Solemn requiem mass will be read at the funeral services at 9:30
a. m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart church here.
Mr. Sporrer, a veteran of World war I, will be buried with
military honors in the parish cemetery.

The body is resting at the family home at the south edge of Templeton,
having been returned there from the Ohde Funeral home in Manning
yesterday afternoon.
Mr. Sporrer, son of the late Wenz and Jacobina Sporrer, was born
April 26, 1893, at Rochester, N. Y. he was three years old when the
family move to Carroll county and located on a farm four miles southeast of Templeton.
He was married to Miss Clara Kemper, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Anton Kemper, September 18, 1923, at Sacred Heart church here. Before
moving into their present farm home, they lived southeast of Templeton.

Mr. Sporrer leaves his wife, four children: Mrs. Owen Ohlinger
(Inez), Denison; Lawrence, Vernice and Dorothy, at home; one sister,
Mrs. Tony Klocke (Lena), Templeton, and one brother, Wenz Sporrer, Dedham.
A brother, Joe, of Dedham, and sister, Anna, of Templeton ,
preceded him in death.
Mr. Sporrer belonged to Sacred Heart parish and Templeton
Council, Knights of Columbus. He was a member of the American Legion
post at Dedham.
