Obituary

  Charles Stender one of the old and highly respected citizens of the vicinity of Cumberland, passed away Sunday after an illness of a year. Mrs. Stender is a sister of Mrs. Jacob Peterson, Mrs. Sam McConkay and Walter Larson. The funeral was held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at Cumberland and the following relatives from Corning were present: Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Sam McConkay, Mrs. Walter Larson and J. A. Peterson.
