Funeral of Mrs. John Swift Today

  Mrs. John Swift, a former Washington resident, died Sunday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Claude McCall, in Denver, Colo. Burial was made this morning in the family lot at Jennings, Kan., where Mr. Swift is buried.
  She was born here April 15, 1875 and was married to John Swift August 30, 1898. They lived on a farm east of town for several years moving from here to Kansas close to 20 years ago. Mr. Swift who died several years ago was a brother of Catherine Swift, Mrs. John Wheelan and Mrs. C. C. Wilson, and Mrs. C. S. Ragan of Boulder, Colo. Mrs. Ragan attended the funeral service in Denver.
  Mrs. Swift is survived by five daughters and two sons, both of whom are in service but had furloughs to attend the funeral. A son, Linus, is deceased.
